Provisioning API - Adding Group Owner

Hello,

I have tried adding an owner in a Group using Provisioning API using the REST tool. Though, I get a server response of 201(See screenshot -Group Owner), when I see the Group Page in Cpanel, I dont see any entries added.(See screenshot - Gapps). But, when I go to the Members page in Google Groups, I see the entry being added(See screenshot - Error) and when I click on the entry it throws me an error as "We cannot find information about the user"(See screenshot - Error1).

I am confused why this happens could you please provide me a solution?, I see this issue happening only when Owners are added, not when  Members are added.

Hi Vim,

In order to add a domain user as group owner, you have to add it first as group member.

Basically, you have to send 2 calls, one to add it as member and another to mark the same user as owner.
