User who cannot acquire it with retrievePageOfUsers

Hello Group,

I am using gdata-java-client 1.42.0.


There is a user who cannot acquire it in the retrievePageOfUsers method.
The user who cannot acquire it seems to be generated when there is a similar account name to the change of the page when investigating.

For instance, when the account in the domain is sorted in order of ASCII, it is the following and becomes it.

   :
hogehen.zhai
hogehoge.li
hogehoge.lily
hoh.dai
hoh.li
   :


It is decided to be acquired because of "hoh.dai" though the first account is expected to become "hogehoge.lily" next page when the final account on the page becomes "hogehoge.li" by retrievePageOfUsers.

However, "hogehoge.lily" can be acquired by using retrieveAllUsers.
Does anyone understand why not to acquire it?

Your issue looks similar to the one reported at:

Apparently, there's an issue with result pagination but I'm not sure whether your issue and the one above are exactly the same.

Feel free to report a new entry in the issue tracker if you think they are not the same problem.

Moreover, the phenomenon unacquirable by retrievePageOfUsers continues.

Hello ymh,

I added users with similar names as you have reported at the page
change position (100th user: user100ly, 101th user: user100lily) and I
was able to retrieve them using RetrieveAllUsers.
Also I tried RetrievePageOfUsers() starting from user 'user100ly') and
was able to retrieve user100lily.
This is not an issue from our side.

The issue http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2385,
is for retrieval of user's aliases.
If you are facing problem with aliases, please be patient with us, we
are still trying to resolve it.
We will update the issue as soon as it gets resolved.
