Calendar Resource API, API Limits and Quotas?

The documentation states that:

Calendar resources, maximum per account:
The maximum number of calendar resources per account is 3,000.

My interpretation is that we could have a maximum of 3000 individual Calendar Resource calendars for our entire domain.

Is this right?  If not could somebody help explain what this means?

You can have a maximum of 3000 calendar resources per domain.
