Hello

May be you have already checked this but still, are you sure you are hitting the right url for the cpanel view when you are logged in as admin_user_name@elearnernetwork.org.
It should be something like google.com/a/cpanel/elearnernetwork.org/Dashboard. Please let me know.

Thanks

PLEASE HELP!!! I would like to know how to change my new admin user name which now has my domain alias, back to the original admin user name so I can have access to my original admin account.

I created a domain alias for juancarloszayas.com which is elearnernetwork.org. When I re-named my admin user name, it gave me a conflicting user account and forced me to create a new user account, locked me out of the Control panel and is forcing me to use the new admin user name @elearnernetwork.org as the admin user account but it has no access to the control panel.

I have tried to reset my password for the original admin user name@juancarloszayas.com but it will just send me information on how to reset the password for the new admin user na...@elearnernetwork.org.
.. which is of course, absolutely of no help... Could you please help us???

I have been a cheerleader(pardon the mental image) for Google Apps at Chicago Public Schools for years. I have been with Google Apps since the beginning... I was granted 500 accounts for free... which I use with my students to disseminate information, collect homework, etc. They get so excited, being elementary students, they feel like grown ups using Google docs and sharing content. You can see them in action at this site http://www.vimeo.com/30038454. I can not go back to work on Tuesday if I lose all their work and accounts. It will devastate them... and me... I have not slept since last night trying to figure all this out... PLEASE HELP US...

If you are still experiencing a problem with regaining cpanel access, I would recommend trying one of the third party cpanel replacements {like gPanel}, which will let you provide any valid administrator account to install the app, and then use the product to reset your admin email account.  Provided the admin user supplied has permission to act on the domain of your original account, you can get past the cpanel lockout by resetting your password with a different tool.

Generally speaking, the primary apps account domain {elearnernetwork.com?} always has permission to modify the accounts on subdomains {juancarloszayas.com?}.  I know that with gpanel you will have to manually associate the subdomains you want to use with the application.  You can search "google marketplace gpanel" to get an install for the app.

If you are managing 500 student accounts, you may also find a lot of unrelated use in the marketplace cpanel replacements, but barring direct customer support from google, a third party tool like gpanel is the best / only way to reset your password without cpanel lock out getting in the way.

In the future, I recommend you have a "master admin account" which you will never use or change except to have valid credentials to login to your domain and recover your data.
