emailPermission deprecated?

Hello all,

I note that emailPermission is part of the provisioning API.

It does not appear to do anything anymore, however. Is it safe to presume that this attribute is deprecated and now non-functional since the release of the group settings API?

If not, what should I expect to change about a group with different values? My test domain is using Google Groups for Business, if that is relevant.
