to GAM for Google Workspace
Hi,

I hope your weeks are going well. I'm a new GAM user for our organization. I'm not a super admin for our entire workspace, but can perform some GAM actions over the domain I do have access to.

I'm trying to print a list of our licenses. "gam print licenses" returns an unauthorized operation, and "gam show licenses" doesn't return anything.

Running gam oauth update, I did confirm that License Manager API was enabled. But this did not work.

I escalated this up to my manager to ask for domain-wide delegation for my service account's client ID, just for the license API. The GAM Wiki's API documentation for License Manager API had a broken link. We tried using "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/apps.licensing" as the scope, which did ultimately reflect in my oauth2.txt file. However, this did not work either. I may be missing something fundamental as this is our small businesses' first GAM project.

Could I please get assistance with this? Is there a way I can print licenses for just the domain I'm currently in / what my admin account has access to?

Thank you.

Best,

There is an Admin API privilege License Management with a License Read option. If you have that privilege you can read licenses.
