Received the same email. Heard of the company but never knew they were involved in GAM

Got the same mail and at first I thought this was some kind of scam too. 

Dito is the company Jay Lee worked for before 'going Google', ;-)

So it seems it is legit and they are still 'somehow' involved with GAM, maybe Jay Lee can clarify it better.

I previously worked at Dito as well.  Chris does work there.  He may just be trying to find somewhere to assist in GAM issues.

Hi Chris,

I got the same e-mail from you. While I do appreciate the outreach, I would offer the following considerations:

• From the link you included, you could have read that the problem itself was more or less solved. No big deal, but from a (semi)commercial angle, you're not getting off to a very attentive start.
• Solving this or any other issue one-on-one with you might be useful for me, but it would deprive other people on this forum from the solution. Speaking for myself, I learned as much from other people's problems (and the resulting discussion) as I did from my own issues posted. This is, in general, the whole point of a forum, rather than, say, a direct helpline.

What I would suggest is that you spend your time frequenting this very forum and help Ross, Jay, Kim and other regulars answer questions. As an alternative / additional thing you could do to gain credit with the community is to add a LOT of text (examples, and a lot of them, please) to the Wiki. I don't know about the relationship between Dito and GAMADV-X, but that Wiki could also do with a lot more explanatory text and syntax examples. (I can read the BNF but it makes my head hurt).

Again, speaking for myself: you could do me no greater favor than spending my free 15 minutes on those topics.
