New installation in existing project

I am trying to install GAMADV-XTD3 for the first time. However, in my organization, we can provision a GCP project via a different methodology. I got one created and have rights to it. However, the installation of GAM expects us to create a new project when configuring GAM. It requires us to enter the client id on command line when we run gam create project. Is there a way I can use my newly created existing project while installation?
