Hi

How do I rename groups e.g. from classroom...@x.org.uk to classroom...@y.org.uk  - I'd still like to keep x.org.uk as an alias - but is there an easier way of doing this in bulk with GAM?  (Also run XTD3)

gam csv GroupRoots.csv gam update group ~~grouproot~~@x.org.uk email ~~grouproot~~@y.org.uk

I have tried this command and am receiving "ERROR: invalid argument".  I am running GAMADV-XTD3 6.72.09.  Are you able to point me in the right direction on what to do?  I understand the use of '~' within GAM, but I don't really understand what '~~' on both sides of "grouproot" is supposed to do.  I just know that GAM doesn't like it.

Regards.
Jeff

You use ~~ to surround a CSV column name when it is combined with literal text in the command line.
Use quotes: gam csv GroupRoots.csv gam update group "~~grouproot~~@x.org.uk" email "~~grouproot~~@y.org.uk~~"
