hi all, 

Im working on a project to add licences to a customers google workspace enviroment. 

and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with this.

my demo enviroment has an online flex plan for Google workspace enterpise plus - archived user with 0/1 licenses added to it.

when adding a license for the flex plan i use 

gam update resoldsubscription <domain name> gsuiteenterprisearchived seats 2 2

this works with out any issues,  it changes the license cap to 2. 

i was wondering why i need to fill in the number twice, with out the second 2 the command doenst work. 

i want to do the same for annual licenses but im unsure what will happen when using this command. 
how should it be formulated for the annual license. 

what i can find is [seats <number> [max]] 

what is defined through <number> and [max] ? im afraid to test this on a live customer

create: seats <NumberOfSeats> <MaximumNumberOfSeats>

update: seats <NumberOfSeats> [<MaximumNumberOfSeats>]

It's a bug, update is requiring <MaximumNumberOfSeats> when it is optional; I'll fix; for now you must specify both values.

So if i understand correctly, when using the same command for annual licenses it works ? 

so if i need 5 additonal annual licenses  it would be gam update resoldsubscription <domain name> <sku> seats 5 5 ?

if thats the case my question is answerd : )
