Hi,
Shutting the gate after the horse has bolted ... the user has left and their data has been moved to a "service account" actually, just a special user account where we move users' data.
They set up a recurring calendar event, I have the event id, is it possible to transfer that to a live user?
I've looked everywhere but I don't seem to be able to find this particular task.
Thank you in advance
Temple

See: https://github.com/taers232c/GAMADV-XTD3/wiki/Users-Calendars-Events#move-calendar-events-to-another-calendar

The old user has to have write access to the live user calendar.

Send Meet/Zoom invitation if you need help.

thank you very much Ross - I've passed the info you sent to Mr. Best Admin ... I think we're too late to move the meeting owner as the original owner no longer exists. We've advised the user to delete the calendar event and create a new one.

If it's just one recurring event, I would do this directly in the Google Calendar interface with an account with Calendar Admin privileges.

Subscribe to the source user's calendar.
Subscribe to the destination user's calendar.
Go into the event, then change the calendar the event lives in from one to the other.

Seeing as the events live on the source calendar, if you delete a user, then the event should disappear with the user.

thank you Aston, I did pass your message on; I'll check in with our Admin to see what he's done.
Best regards
