Hello,

I've used GAM and it's awesome! I was wondering if there's a way to remove that entry from the Configured Apps List. I already set the access to Blocked but would love to have that window cleaned up.

Thank you in advance!

Why are you blocking it? You'll need to remember to unblock and allow it next time you need to use GAM (and hopefully that's not an emergency)

No, there's no way to remove entries from this list but setting the app to "limited" is identical to not having the app in the list at all, the app will only be allowed based on your global settings.

I just ran into this when taking over a site... Essentially someone had (re?)installed GAM as new.. not upgrade ( I think?).
In any event I have 2 GAM configured apps listed:

GAM is working fine, but as you mentioned there's no way to remove these "orphaned" apps..  I have blocked the old one..
Even if I could change the name or alias that would be better... but defo no way to remove that I've found.
ATB!

If you have access to the old GAM project in GCP you can delete that also.

Ouch... this app list his affecting my OCD...

Does deleting the GCP project remove it from the list?

Thanks,

I doubt it. It's affecting my OCD as well.

I tried everything but couldn't get it removed from the list.

Elie/David,

Try this:

In the Admin console, go to Security/Access and Data Control/API Controls/MANAGE THIRD-PARTY APP ACCESS

Click Download list

Select Comma-separated values (.csv)

Click Download

Click Download CSV

The CSV file will be named: owl_apps.csv

Remove the rows of apps you want to keep.

Edit the column Access to UNCONFIGURED for those rows you want to remove.

Click Bulk update list

Click Attach CSV file

Locate owl_apps.csv

Click Upload

Click Upload

Click Confirm

Everyone loves you Ross Scroggs. That worked perfectly.

I am so pleased. It was kind of embarrassing have 5 failed attempts at setting up GAM in my list :-). All of my own making of course....

Thanks a million,

David.

Yeah, there is no way to remove those at the moment. Best you can do is to change the configuration so that they cant be used.
At least until Google comes to their senses and adds the button to remove them.

Ross's earlier post solves this. I am too excited to not make further mention of it. I have used this process a few times already now...

David.
