Not sure if this is what I need to do. I am using GAM to delegate shared mailboxes using a CSV file. However after updating the CSV file with a new list of users, when I run the command again, I get the old users delegated to the mailbox. I have closed the CMD window and renamed the CSV file but still get the same previous users.

How do I clear this from GAM's memory?

Thanks in advance.

James,

Gam does not cache this kind of information. Show the command you are executing.

Hi Ross,

I am using C:\Windows\System32 gam csv _gam.csv gam user yellow.house delegate to ~user. I have changed the user list in the _gam.csv file but GAM does not pick up the new user list and just uses the list of people from the previous file. In fact I tried again today and it used the list from the last 2 times I used this file.  I have restarted my computer and still no change.

Any suggestions? Thanks

James

James,

Gam does not cache data; I assume you're doing this to verify delegates: gam user yellow.house show delegates
If you're seeing the old user list then it's because delegating to the new list isn't working.
Additionally adding new deletgates does not remove the old delegates so the old delegates will be there until you delete them.

Execute this command after adding the missing \ after System32 and send me the output privately.

C:\Windows\System32gam csv _gam.csv gam user yellow.house delegate to ~user
