I am having the same issue today.  I was wondering if it was because I turned on 2StepV for my admin account.

Thanks Brad

Brad,

Do: gam user us...@domain.org check serviceacount
Follow the instructions to add the authorization; maybe another admin inadvertantly deleted the authorization.

Brad,

Was the authorization already there when you followed the instructions the first time? If not and you added the authorization, it usually takes seconds for the authorization to take effect, however some people report that it takes 15-30 minutes.

Yes the Authorization was there in the admin Console. I have used it before. I removed it this morning and recreated it twice. last time was about 2 hours ago.

Brad,

There are two independent authorization schemes: client and service account. Client authorization is used to manipulate users, groups, OUs, etc. Service account authorization is used to manipulate things that belong to users: files, calendars, messages.
Can you turn off 2SV for the admin account and see if it starts working?

It looks to me that authorization gets through if you WRITE all by hand instead of copy/paste. You cannot copy security string either, it has to be written by hand.
