This is currently being discussed in the MacAdmins Slack channel Google Workspace. So far most of the suggestions fall a little short of "easy" or simple steps for secretaries closer to retirement than myself.
Many times throughout the year I get asked this question and often jump through many hoops to fit the situation.
Pick one: retirement/wedding/birthday/divorce/baby shower/fundraiser event or similar event notification to be sent to everyone except the “special” person.
In the past I have removed the specific user from the building specific gmail group temporarily, but then they may miss some messages they need.
Is there a simple way to duplicate the building user list, then remove that one specific user? Or a method to create a mail group from a specific sub OU and then remove or exclude that one special person?
Any suggestions for a simple workflow that I could perform with GAM without having to get too involved?
