I've been trying to set up GAM version 3.21. Trying to run 'gam info domain' gives me a whole list of options, I don't get prompted for the primary google domain as in the first time setup instructions.
I then select option 21 to continue and it falls out of GAM telling me there is a problem with the jsn file.
I found information the said I needed to create our client-secrets.jsn file - so I followed the instructions to create this and then renamed it copying it into my c:\GAM folder.
I ran 'gam info domain' again and this time selecting option 21 to continue it opened a web browser and reported error 401: invalid client
There is a suggestion in the jsn file instructions to run 'gam oauth info' to check the client ID however I get the same result trying to run this command as well.
Can anyone help with this?

I'm trying to run GAM for the first time also.  I also get the 401 error.

Have a look at this document: http://goo.gl/PGlFmC for set-up instructions.  You will need to have super-admin level access to the Admin console.  Be sure to use the link provided in step 2 of this document.

When creating the project and before downloading the client_secrets.json file, do not forget to write your email and Product name, under Consent Screen.
