Delegated email account not appearing under my profile picture

I have looked through historical conversations in GAM for Google Workspace group and followed advises in the historical conversations, but I still cannot get user2 to show.

I used the following command to make myself as delegate of user2

c:\gam> gam user user2 delegate to MYEMAIL
Giving MYEMAIL delegate access to user2@MYDOMAIN (1/1)

I made sure the status is accepted:

c:\gam> gam user user2 show delegate

When I log in to Gmail with my account, I am not able to see user2 under my profile picture at top right corner.

I have tried to log out, clear browser cache, close browser and log back in.

User2 still does not appear under my profile picture.

What have I missed?

What can I do to resolve this issue?

What can I do to troubleshoot further?

The delegate users appear under my account after around 24 hours.

Subsequent delegation appeared instantly.

If I setup another delegation for another user.

That user needs to wait a few hours.

It seems that the first time delegation for a user takes hours but subsequent ones will be instant.
