How do I sync both members and managers of a group?

So, I migrated my LDAP groups over to GAE today and noticed some differences in how permissions work that I'm still trying to figure out. In short, what I'm trying to do (at least for this one group) is have all our students (2500) in as members, and have all our faculty/staff (1000) in as managers. Only managers will be allowed to post, and will not receive messages, while members cannot post but do receive messages.

I don't see a way to do this, and have nightly updates, with the GADS ldap sync tool, so I'm trying to use GAM.

What I need is this:

gam update group students sync member org Students
gam update group students sync manager org Employees

However, whenever I run one of them, it of course erases the other. Is it possible to run the two concurrently, or some other such configuration, that will allow me to sync both lists and roles into my group?

Thanks! Chris

This should be fixed in GAM 3.04 released today. Can you upgrade and confirm that it corrects your issue?
