We have a need to move the contents of a Shared Drive to another Google Workspace domain. Is GAM or GAMADV capable of this?

I made a user in domain B manager of a shared drive in domain A.

In domain B I moved (drag and drop) the contents of shared drive from domain A which seems to have changed ownership of the contents.

Does this mean I do not need GAM or a $$$ migration tool? Any caveats that you can think of?

Sorry for the off-topic and thank you for any replies.

I am looking at doing this. If one domain is going away at some point you need to move the data. I would use a drive map robo copy or gam command on a spare machine

otherwise seems like you are good. I am not planning on spending any $

The source domain will eventually be deleted. Are you saying that once it's deleted the data will disappear from the target Shared Drive? If so then it brings me back to my original question regarding around using GAM or GAMADV to get the data moved over to the new domain.
