Hi all,

I'm using few administrative groups in G Suite which I don't want to show in the Global Address List (GAL).

For example I use these Groups to some policy settings which I want to affect for Group members only or use other market place apps to push an email signature to only to specific members if a group.

I've been using the command

gam update group grou...@domain.com include_in_global_address_list false

To hide the grou...@domain.com from GAL.

I have used this successfully in numerous occasions. But from few weeks back, I've observed that this setting doesn't get applied. When I run the command it says the Group updated but when I check the group info using GAM whatis group_id it'll show the value
include_in_global_address_list as "true" where earlier it used to changed to "false"

I'm wondering if anyone else also noticed this recently?

Best regards,
Pubudu.
