I may be totally misunderstanding the value of the gam chatbot, but basically I'd like to let scheduled scripts announce their completion, perhaps include some info from the job, etc.
I'm stuck on "Show Failed: Your administrator has not enabled this bot". Also, the documentation says "For each OU where you want the Chat Bot available" -- no. We don't have OU differentiation on that, it's all or nothing for our [fundamentals] edu domain. I need to leave it on "Allow users to install only allowed applications from Google Workspace Marketplace." But of course the bot ain't on the allowlist. Am I screwed?
In the API settings I permissioned our tech group (by individual email), rather than everyone.
The apps script bot I set up a while back didn't seem this painful to get working. Argh.
