to GAM for G Suite

I just installed the latest GAM and wanted to output a simple print users list of users whose passwords need changing, and include their org unit. The GAM help page no longer has a list of the correct syntax for each of the possible fields for the print user command.

I used GAM print user allfields to produce a report with every possibility, and then used the column headings to make a command giving me just the data I needed. However it took me a stupidly long time to figure this out. I'm posting this in case someone else is in the same boat and would find this helpful.

BTW - The new GAM installation is much improved! It authenticated pretty much first time. I was using a very old version because earlier versions were so hard to setup that I'd put off updating. GAM is a very helpful tool.

Eliz,

If you have a current version of Gam (4.03), there should be a file named GamCommands.txt in the same folder as gam.exe/gam.py; it has a complete Gam command syntax.

Pat,

If you downloaded gam-4.03-linux-*.tar.xz, the file is missing. Download the Source code (tar.gz), GamCommands.txt is in GAM-4.03/src
