Hi,

Sincere apologies if this is a question with an obvious answer, I have been trying to find a solution to this but struggling. I'm new to GAM.

In our Google Account we have two domains registered. One as a primary and one as a secondary. We also have a domian alias registered on the primary domain. Of course by the auto magic of GSuite all users in the primary domain have said domain alias.

My goal is to effectively have a domain alias applied to all the users in the secondary domain. General searching appears to suggest this is possible with the domain aliases api, but I was wondering if this was possible in GAM. As I'll be honest, utilising the API is far from my strong point.

I hope I've explained this correctly but just in case an example helps.

Primary Domain: apples.com
Primary Domain Alias: red.apples.com
User A's Email Addresses: us...@apples.com us...@red.apples.com

Secondary Domain: biscuits.com
Desired Secondary Domain Alias: chocolate.biscuits.com
Desired User B's Email Addresses: us...@biscuits.com  us...@chocolate.biscuits.com

Many Thanks in advance for any help or guidance,

Mark N

Hi Mark, welcome to the list.

Yes, you can do this with a command like:

gam create domainalias chocolate.biscuits.com biscuits.com

where chocolate.biscuits.com is the new alias domain and biscuits.com is the primary or secondary domain the alias should mirror. For more info on the command see:
