Renamed display name of a user keeps showing up with previous name

Hi

i renamed display name of a user, and didn't change the username. Still the receivers are getting mails in the previous employee's name. This is creating a lot of confusion. It has been 3 months since i changed it. Please suggest a solution.

Check if the previous email is listed as an alias, this may be the case.

Hi,
But i didn't change the email. just changed its display name. so there is no alias for this email.

The old display name is stored in the users's Other Contacts, they will have to delete from there.

With Advanced GAM, this can be done for them.

Hi,

Not only old receivers where this contact is saved, but also new receivers are getting with previous employee's name.

Accounts/Usernames should never be re-used.
