Deleting Users from a Calendar's ACL

The documentation for deleting a user from a calendar's ACL has the command as:

gam calendar <calendar email> delete user <user email>

I can only get this command to work by removing 'user'.  I.E. 

gam calendar <calendar email> delete <user email>

Is anybody else experiencing this?
