Google sheet and GAM for shared domain contacts

I am new to GAM and also to domain shared contacts, so bear with me.  If there are easier ways to accomplish what I am describing, please let me know.

My ultimate goal is to utilize a google sheet to manage our domain shared contacts.  From my little bit of research into GAM, I think it would be easiest with four sheets (existing contacts, new contacts, contacts to update, and contacts to delete).  I created a sheet to add new contacts and I can successfully add new contacts from the sheet.  My next step was to read the existing contacts and put them in an existing sheet (I will manually delete the contents of the sheet before running this command).  I am having issues with the syntax to make this happen however.    I have tried several variations of the following command:

gam redirect csv todrive tdfileid 1X4tMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoqRfNVs tdretaintitle true tdsheet "testing_existing" tdupdatesheet true print contact fields id prefix firstname lastname suffix

but I keep getting "ERROR: Invalid choice (tdfileid): Expected <all|cigroup|..."

I am basing my command from https://github.com/taers232c/GAMADV-XTD3/wiki/Todrive#redirect-csv in the examples section.  

Any help would be appreciated.

You're missing a - after redirect csv

gam redirect csv - todrive tdfileid 1X4tMxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoqRfNVs tdretaintitle true tdsheet "testing_existing" tdupdatesheet true print contact fields id prefix firstname lastname suffix

Can you share the template of the spreadsheet.

I need to do the same task, but I have issues to delete the shared contacts.

Sorry, I don't think I have anything that will be of assistance to you.  I abandoned this project shortly after posting those questions because of changes to our business ERP system.  I did not make it far enough to try deleting contacts from the spreadsheet.
