check remaining licenses

to GAM for Google Workspace
Hello, I am very new to GAM, I am trying refactor a script at work that creates users, it's a enterprise version of GWorkspace, however I'd like it to check if we actually have available licenses before it goes ahead and tries to create the user, which commands should I be looking at?

or do I need to do something more sophisticated like Try, Catch?

Do: gam info domain

This will give you some license info.

Thank you Ross, I can see the number of users, which is a good start, I was hoping to see unassigned license’s so I could check I had one available in my script 

Is that data available

  Workspace Enterprise Plus Licenses: 3

  Workspace Enterprise Plus Users: 3


Is Licenses-Users the number of available licenses?
