Hello,

How do we clear all events from a Room Calendar? Not deleting events itself, but just clearing.

Thanks.

What is the difference between clearing and deleting?

We want to disassociate events from a Room, but still want to retain these events.

You add an event to a resource calendar; now you want to clear it; on what calendar would you retain it? Events are not free standing, they are associated with a calendar.

I'm unclear on how you can achieve what you are describing.

It sounds like he wants to decline any events the resource calendar was invited to. This would be done by PATCHing the event and changing the responseStatus for the resource calendar attendee to declined.

I believe if an invited attendee DELETEs an event it removes the event from the attendee's calendar and shows as declined in everyone else's view. However if the event is owned by the resource calendar the delete is permanent.

First you can get a list of all the events on the resource with something like
gam calendar domain.com_1234...@resource.calendar.google.com print events > events.csv

Then you can delete those events you not longer want on the resource with
gam events.csv gam calendar ~calendarId delete event eventid ~id doit

It preserves the event on the calendar of organiser/attendees but no longer has the resource allocated to it

HI - I tried creating a new conversation, but unsure if it's working since I don't see it on the conversation list. Hence, posting my issue here:

I'm getting the following error while trying to bulk delete users.

gam csv /Users/swastikjoshi/Desktop/Book1.csv gam delete user ~Email

zsh: no such user or named directory: Email

Thanks,
-Swastik

Put ~Email in quotes

gam csv /Users/swastikjoshi/Desktop/Book1.csv gam delete user "~Email"
