Restrict calendar free/busy information to only users from the same OU

Hoping for some help on this. What is the best way to restrict calendar free/busy information to only users from the same OU? 

The scenario is i'd like users from an OU to be able to see each other's free/busy information as well as that of everyone else in the domain. However i don't want their own free/busy information to be available to users outside of the OU.

My current thought process is to set the OU's default to not sharing free/busy information and then modify all the OU's users calendar ACLs to allow freebusyreader access to the OU ( is it possible to scope this to an OU or does it need to be to a group ) 

Is this the only way to accomplish this? not so keen on having to schedule this process to make sure all new OU members have the right calendar ACLs.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Much like Drive ACL, calendars can be shared with user, group, domain, or publicly.
