Google has given the death penalty to “less secure apps” but has stayed the execution several times.

 

“Less secure apps” is unstable for us.  Sometimes we come into the office to find that the setting was disabled overnight and have to be re-enabled to get copiers to work.

 

I’m not sure what your actual problem is (you didn’t say) but “less secure app” access won’t fix it.

I need to activate less secure applications to migrate emails from Gmail to another email server, this process is necessary to perform this migration, just for that. However, we will continue to perform the activation manually.

It sounds like you *need* a better migration tool that doesn't require knowing the source user's password...
