Catch a GAM error with Powershell

Good day,

Does anyone have a lead on how I should Catch a GAM error with Powershell?

I have some automation and if there is a error with the GAM command I am dreading trying to parse the return string.

Maybe Try{} Catch{}

I will try that now.

The answer is 

$Eml = gam user $SourceEml delegate to $DestinEml

Then check $Eml for $null with an IF

    $LASTEXITCODE = $null

    $Eml = gam user $SourceEml delegate to $DestinEml

    if ($LASTEXITCODE -ne 0) {
        $Eml = 'Error'
    }
    else {
        $Eml = 'Success'
    }
