Hello,

We run an interpreting agency and I would like to have auto-reply on a certain email 'in...@riseinterpreting.com' in our case. Where it will auto-respond during a specified time range, for example 5pm to 7 am we would like to send a auto-response from G-Suite that the request was received and will be processed on the next business day.

The built-in feature for that is called Out of Office AutoReply:
So, if there is a way to set an OOO-reply via GAM, then you could schedule it to be enabled at the end of the day, and then disable it every morning.

I think if you can run as scheduled tasks daily something like these below:

Run this at 4:59pm      gam user em...@domain.com vacation on subject "We are closed" message "Thanks for contacting us, we are open from 7am to 5pm"
Run this at 6.59am      gam user em...@domain.com vacation off

It works in my head at least and I know we've recently set loads of OOO responses using GAM

Thank you all for your responses, I am now seeing 'OOO responses using GAM' may be the way to go... so I went ahead and successfully set-up GAM for our GSUITE.

Now I am at the point of whats next? I am now at the Google API user interface... what exactly is OOO?

Out Of Office

It's called "vacation" in the API.
