Shard drive used space

I am having trouble getting used drive space for Shared Drives. I am trying to use this Python script, but can't get past step 4 as I don't understand what step 6 is and how to set it up. Can you help?

basically you need to impersonate organizers/managers of shared drives.

Yeah, I eventually found that, but could not get that either. Wasn't thinking right, Ross helped me get that straightened out.

Is "Size" in TeamDriveCountsSize.csv in Bits, Bytes, or what?

Thanks. I have now set up a script that will get all users Google Drive use space and all Google Shared Drive used space and upload to a Google Sheet in a Shared drive for admins with a nice pie chart for how close we are to the coming quota. (We are a super small school district and we are only using ~1% of the upcoming 100Tb cap, thank goodness!)

I haven’t used it personally, but I’ve heard good things from other schools about Amplified IT’s Gopher For Drive tool that can also help with figuring out usage. Check out https://www.amplifiedit.com/gopher-for-drive/

One of our other admins used Gopher, but it would only calculate a certain time range.

Here's something to make you think. I have run a report for both user drive space and Shared drive space with GAMADV and Gopher. Each method has conflicting sizes in the reports. Can anyone think of a reason for this?

User drives

GAMADV for 2022-02-05  accounts:used_quota_in_mb  5,147,029

Gopher for 2022-02-05 total usage in MB  5,608,063

Shared drives

GAMADV for 2022-02-05 size in MB  226,523

Gopher for 2022-02-05 size in MB   461,822
