Automate to delegate shared mail based on group membership

Hi everyone,

I am looking a GAM command to automate the access to a shared mailbox for all members of a user group.

Is it possible? Could it work also if I would like to give access to a shared mailbox to all members of a OU?

gam print group-members group gr...@domain.com | gam csv - gam user sha...@domain.com add delegate "~email"

gam print users query "orgUnitPath='/Test'" | gam  csv - gam user sha...@domain.com add delegate "~primaryEmail"

There are limitations, see: https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/reference/rest/v1/users.settings.delegates/create

Can I automate it? I mean every time that we add a new member to the group or to the OU, is it necessary to retype this GAM command?

Hi Francesco,

GAM cannot automate commands, you'll need to create a scheduled task somewhere to execute your GAM commands.
