Setup GAM Corporate network using Proxy

Has anyone encoutered the following on a corporate network...

I have set env variable HTTP_PROXY=http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

And trying to set up GAM get the following error:

ERROR: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='oauth2.googleapis.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /token (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x000001493FF637F0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [WinError 10060] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond'))

As all GAM connections to Google are via https, try setting:
env variable HTTPS_PROXY=https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

same error...

Does anyone know if "auto Proxy" config would affect this?

Did you specify the proxy port number for HTTP_PROXY? It doesn't look to me like GAM is having success talking to the proxy.

I specified proxy and port and verified that it is "talking" to it...does anyone know what ports GAM uses from the desktop? Meaning can i need corporate firewall port opened up?

Would port 443 be used through the proxy though, or is that something the firewall could be blocking?

Does anyone know what urls are accessed using GAM...possibly some are blocked and that is why I keep receiving error message?

I am getting httplib2.socks.HTTPError: (407, b'Proxy Authentication Required') when i have both http_proxy and https_proxy set...

Does this mean anything to anyone? I am still unable to complete the setup.
