Looking for Guidance on Zimbra to Google Workspace Migration

We’re in the process of planning a migration from Zimbra to Google Workspace for our organization. The scope includes migrating emails, calendars, contacts, and possibly files stored in Zimbra Briefcase.

I’d appreciate any guidance or shared experiences on:

• Tools or scripts you’ve used for a successful Zimbra to Google Workspace migration
• Challenges faced with mail and calendar compatibility
• How to handle large mailbox sizes and user credentials securely
• Whether GAM or Google Workspace Admin SDK can help in any part of this process

We’re also considering working with professional migration providers to reduce internal workload. One of the vendors we’re evaluating is Apps4Rent, which offers end-to-end support for Zimbra to Google Workspace migrations.
