Automate add and verify teachers in Classroom_teachers

How do I automate the process of adding and verifying teachers to the classroom_teachers group?

Google does this behind the scenes, you can't manually display/manager it.

$ gam info group classroom_teachers

Hey Ross,

Unfortunately, the classroom_teachers group was deleted earlier today and of course immediately recreated as an empty group. A Google Workspace support article includes this statement:

"To populate the Classroom Teachers group directly, admins can use Google APIs. Some admins may choose to use Google Apps Manager (GAM). GAM is a command-line tool for admins to manage Google Workspace domains and to automate the teacher verification process."

But doesn't explain how to use GAM to automate the teacher verification process. I am hoping that Google Classroom's still work, so far two teachers have accessed their post-deletion Classrooms without any issues. I am sure there will be many more problems tomorrow that I am unaware of and will discover tomorrow.
