show/print chat messages

Hi,

I've been trying to work out if I can print out my chat messages using GAMADV-XTD3 ... I've enabled the chat scopes for GAM and followed the instructions to get to the cloud console and Chat API configuration ... I'm not exactly sure why I need to do this and whether or not it'll actually enable me to print my chat messages.

thank you Ross - the Chat API is enabled in my GAM project. when I try any of the commands I get an error.

e.g.

gam user <user> info chatspace "spaces/<spacenumber>"

or

gam user <user> print chatspaces

Once we identify the error, the command you want is:

gam user (user) show chatmessages space/AAAA

I get this error below when I type the command you sent above

ERROR:
To set up Google Chat for your API project, please go to:

    https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/api/chat.googleapis.com/hangouts-chat?project=gam-project-298-dic-n00

and complete all fields.

The Google chat API has always been enabled in the GAM project

To store this history in a csv and send it to the drive, should it be something like the below?

I received this error

todrive is only valid with print

gam user (user) print chatmessages space/AAAA todrive
