Is there a GAM command to run to recover a file from a user's drive who is no longer part of our G Workspace domain?   I just need to recover one file.

Thanks,
Pat

Patrick,

GAM can only act as users in your workspace domain, so it can't recover from users outside your domain.
Maybe a Google Vault wizard can point you in the right direction.

Hi Ross,

Thanks for your response.

Let me clarify, the user used to be in our domain, but left and one of the files we're trying to access was created when she was in our domain.    Also, we don't have vault.

This is the error:

Sorry, unable to open the file at this time.

Please check the address and try again.

Is there a GAM script to recover this file?  Maybe change the sharing permissions to that everyone can access?
