Is there a way to check if a user has access to Gmail? I'm getting an error when using GYB with a list of users pulled with GAM but users don't have access to the Gmail service so I get the error "400: Mail service not enabled - failedPrecondition"

Try running:

gam print users ismailboxsetup

it will included a column isMailboxSetup. If that's false, they don't have a Gmail mailbox enabled and GYB will fail.
