gamadv-x not detecting whitelisted client id

I have confirmed that i authorized my client id with the recommended scopes via Google admin

However whenever i run "gam user us...@email.com check serviceaccount" i continue to fail all of the API checks even after confirming the client id has been authorized with the appropriate scopes

any suggestions on how to fix this?
