Gmail Delegation

With the move from the Email Settings API to the Gmail API I see that feature is not yet available. I've tried to set delegation on a few accounts now and none of them are showing up for the end user, myself included. All the usual things like checking the Mail Delegation setting on the admin console and users logging in/out, incognito have been done. Any other ideas why show delegates returns they have been set but we can't access?

Another odd thing, my account has a delegated account assigned via the UI and it is not listed on the show delegates command.

As delegation hasn't moved from the Email Settings API to the Gmail API, all versions of Gam still use the E mail Settings API for delegation,

If this: gam user us...@domain.com show delegates

shows delegates and the user can't see them via the UI, talk to Google support.

I tried to set a delegate with GAMADV-X today, and it worked.

I had to wait a bit, because it turned out I had even forgotten to enable delegation in the two user OUs.

Both delegator and delegate must have delegation active, and changepassword false.

Turns out I had executed the commands backwards - I had given the shared account access to the users inbox!
