I'm trying to use

https://gmail.googleapis.com/gmail/v1/users/{{email}}/settings/delegates

I can use this in GAM but if I wanted to just add a delegate to an email using the API above, can that be done and anyone have an idea of what scopes are required?

I've set service accounts but get

Error adding delegate: Request had insufficient authentication scopes.

even after using gam user na...@co.com check serviceaccount

Looks like it's https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.sharing per https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/reference/rest/v1/users.settings.delegates/create

Hope that helps,

Ian

Thanks
I have tried that but continue to get the insufficient scope error

I have tried OAuth2 ID/Secret and Service Account
It works within GAM but trying to see if I can get this working "stand-alone"

Does it work for you using the APIs Explorer (see the right column of the screenshot below)? That might be a good way to troubleshoot....

Cheers,

Ian
