grant delegate access to group.

I am having trouble delegating a user account to a group. I have enabled the feature in google admin to allow me to do so.

I am attempting to grant delegate access from 'us...@domain.com', to a group, 'gr...@domain.com'. I am getting a confirmation in GAM, and I can see in the user account that the group has been successfully added as a delegate. But when I am logged in as a user that is a member of that group I do not see the delegated account.

Here is the strange thing; I am doing all of this through GAM, When I manually assign a delegate from within the user account, this works. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Hi Will,

Can you post the command you are using and the version of GAM you are running? I am probably not able to assist but am sure those who can would benefit from this info.

I recently delegated a user account to a Group and it worked OK. I ran a variation of gam user <Shared Email Account> delegate to <Group Email Account> (using a Google Sheet) and currently have GAMADV-XTD3 6.50.14 installed, although I am sure I have updated since I ran this.

I'm currently using GAMADV-XTD3 6.42.09, but will update and attempt again.
