Add Managers to Google Group via GAMADV 6.71.10

Hi,

Trying to add Managers to Google Group via CSV (attached). And it just won't work, I looked at past posts, the GAM Cheat Sheet, Reddit and the Wiki. I am relatively new to GAM .

I managed to get it working for members though as below:

gam csv test.csv gam update group "~group" add members "~members"

I assumed all I needed to add at the end of this was "add managers users "~manager"". I even did a few variations of this and without the members multiple different ways and it just won't take.

I usually get the error gam update group add >>>manager<<< testing...@gmail.com Error invalid argument

But depending on what command I use i get sometimes i get Error header groups/manager not found.

I been at this for about a couple hours and cannot find a solution. I need to do this so I can update this in our prod version for all groups and do not want to have to do it manually or anything else. 

Anyone able to pull a major assist over here?

gam update group <groupname> add manager user <manager email address>

By your command, I see you are adding an "s" to add manager, making it add managers

You can't say this, you have to do two steps.

gam csv test.csv gam update group "~group" add members "~members" add managers users "~manager"

gam csv test.csv gam update group "~group" add members users "~members"

gam csv test.csv gam update group "~group" add managers users "~manager"

member|members manager|managers - singular or plural are both allowed.
