Hide Group Id from Global addresses

Is there any solution to avoid auto-fill group email addresses in the message compose tab?

Whether it is possible with the GAM, If so let me know how to do that.

But I am getting this error
 ERROR: gal is not a valid argument for "gam update group"

I think this command may only apply to GAMADV-XTD3, not standard GAM.

What do you get if you run gam version?

You are using standard GAM. You may want to consider upgrading to GAMADV-XTD3 to enable a wider range of GAM commands/options.

I tried this command " gam update group gr...@domain.com includeinglobaladdresslist off " 

I have executed this comment but still, users in my organization can view the group email address in suggestions while composing an email.

I want like, the email address should only be visible to group members while composing an email, it will not visible to other users.
one of the users sends an email to that group email id, then that user tried to send another email to the same group email id, but it showing suggestions ( group email id ) while composing an email. we don't want to show this group email address to the users even if they have been sent before.

is there any option to hide that group id permanently from all the users except group members using GAM, kindly let me know.

Be sure you've done this:

gam update group gr...@domain.com whocanviewgroup all_members_can_view

When you send an email, Google puts the email address in your Other Contacts.

With Advanced GAM you can delete the group email address from Other Contacts like this:

gam user us...@domain.com delete othercontacts emailmatchpattern gr...@domain.com

You can do this for all users like this:

gam all users delete othercontacts emailmatchpattern gr...@domain.com

It is possible that the group email address ended up in the user's personal contact list, such as they have emailed that list before or even had it pop up in a search. I would clear the email address from personal Contacts as well.

I am getting the below following error:

1. gam user us...@domain.com delete othercontacts emailmatchpattern gr...@domain.com -->  user gam...@demo.econz.net delete is not a valid argument for "gam"

2.   gam all users delete othercontacts emailmatchpattern gr...@domain.com  --> 

Getting all Users in Google Workspace account (may take some time on a large account)...

Got 48 Users...
done getting 48 Users.

ERROR: othercontacts is not a valid argument for "gam <users> delete" 

3.  gam all users_ns delete othercontacts emailmatchpattern gr...@domain.com -->  ERROR: users_ns is not a valid argument for "gam all"

You're using Standard GAM, you need Advanced GAM to manage contacts.
