Hi all,
So i searched a bit on this and am not entirely sure if this has been done and addressed on GAM. I have updated to GAM 4.96 just earlier.

I have managed to change ownership using this command:

gam user abc@xxx.com update drivefileacl 1opT2n7C9uyObCMNVyw7SjuqgAdZxgLZj xyz@xxx.com role owner

That changes/updates the ownership of file 1opT2n7C9uyObCMNVyw7SjuqgAdZxgLZj from a...@xxx.com to x...@xxx.com

What I would like to achieve is that in bulk - i.e. to provide a folder id, a new owner (who is also an admin) and NOT provide a current owner email/id since there are many users owning files/folders in that folder - and would like to set the owner recursively. In doing so, it needs to set the current existing owner as a Contributor and leave the rest of the permissions as is.

Please advise or assist with that?

Thank you
Yatish
