Hi Ross and team,

Is there a way to print or export a list of users that have removed a Google group from their Google calendar permissions?

Another way to frame my question - is there a command that can export a list of users that have a specific Google group missing from their calendar permissions?

Context: every employee is supposed to  have an HR Google group added to their calendars with write access. However we've been noticing that quite a few users are removing that group from their calendar permissions.

If I can do so with just GAM and not have to use anything else (eg, Python) that would be great.

Thanks,
Val

Val:

GAM reports what is, you’d have to take GAM’s results and parse it through your own logic to determine which records fail to meet some benchmark.

However, google is pretty forgiving in terms of giving privileges that a user already has.  You could try to update ALL users and assign the setting that you want them to have. And let google sort it out.  I’d test this in a small group of users as a test first.

Val,

Here's what I've come up with: this is an Advanced GAM solution.

gam config auto_batch_min 1 redirect stdout ./CalHasGroup.txt multiprocess redirect stderr ./CalDoesNotHaveGroup.txt multiprocess all users info calendaracls primary group:hrg...@domain.com

Look in CalDoesNotHaveGroup.txt

Thanks Ross! And appreciate you Rance for looking into this as well. I haven't had a chance to test this out. I'll give it a go and let you know
