Calendar -- Change Owner

Is it possible to change a calendar's owner? So far I've tried...

`gam calendar [uniqueid]@group.calendar.google.com add acls owner newownername`

...but while this returns `Calendar ACL: (Scope: user:newownername, Role: owner), Added` nothing actually changes, as far as I can see.

I'm having a similar problem. When I run the command and look in Calendars, the original owner is still the only owner of the calendar and the intended new owner just maintains their Make changes and manage sharing status. What I would expect to see is that the old owner now has some new status and the new owner is the owner.
