Is it possible to see if a particular email address has posting permission to a group ?

Hi there,

Is it possible to see if a particular email address has posting permission to a group ? 

I've used ./gam whatis groupname but it only shows peremisions at a top level - I want to search for an email address in the group and see if it has post permission to that group ?

Not in one step:

gam info member us...@domain.com gr...@domain.com

Find role: and note value

gam info group gr...@domain.com nousers noaliases

Find whoCanPostMessage:

Is the user's role covered?

Hi Ross,

Thanks for replying - I could see the roles being mapped to who could post at the top level but there is a "posting" setting that overides the groups posting policy for each user that can be selected to allow posting for that user (or not!) etc:

Its not possible to view that then from advanced gam ?

That field is not provided by the API, thus GAM can't see it.
